Welcome to the Hiart Studio model horse artwork of Heather Irvine! Please browse through the examples of my own model horses and commissions customised and hand painted in oils. My ideals are totally congruent to realism, with an approach where making the model as life-like as possible is the key, but I do not copy reference photographs religiously, rather use them as a starting point to allow each models character and colour to evolve on the piece. This way the integrity of the piece remains constant, whilst allowing me to explore colur combinations.

I will also prep and do minor re-sculpting (tails, manes, feathers etc) but will not undertake any major adjustments. Ears/hooves can be carved too.

All prices are EXCLUSIVE of shipping/posting costs which will be at the commissionees cost. I always send my models by tracked/signed for registered post, so will expect the same from you, then we both have peace of mind that your model will arrive safely.
